SiriusXM TTR1 Tabletop Internet Radio

,
SiriusXM TTR1 Tabletop Internet Radio
  • I use the Sportster 5 and boombox at home (which I love), but I also wanted to have a device at the office. The TTR1 has been perfect for work. It's easy to hook up, looks and sounds great. Since I spend more time at work than anywhere else, I feel that the TTR1 really allows me to maximize my Sirius subscription.
  • Our office was looking at expensive wiring to install a Sirius antenae, long cables, etc. The unit was set up within 3-5 minutes and has been working floawlessly for 4 months.

Panasonic SC-HC25 Compact Stereo System

,
Panasonic SC-HC25 Compact Stereo System
  • When I looked at the Panasonic SC-HC25 Compact Stereo System, it looked cool and the reviews were quite good. I was a little worried and hesitant about purchasing this item because I have never bought something like this online. But I was wrong its way better than the old little iPod player I had! The sound is good (for my taste and Im picky when it comes to sound!) there are all these options you can choose from like bass, sound quality etc. I even played one of my songs that was very instrustmental and it sounded very nice. The remote works but you have to point it right at it but thats fine. And the CD player is nice also, the sliding door for it is so cool! I think you will be very pleased…
  • When my old Sony CD Player/Clock/Radio finally died I wanted a replacement CD Player compact enough to fit in a specific corner on the kitchen counter, with simple controls and good sound quality. The Panasonic SC-HC25 meets these requirements very well. I use it exclusively to play CD's as I have flourescent lights over the kitchen cabinets and LED can lights over the counters, in a Florida house under a metal roof, so radio reception is nil.My only negative is one of omission. My old Sony had a CD "Repeat-Repeat/All-Shuffle-Repeat/Shuffle" feature which I used frequently in the "Repeat/Shuffle" mode to keep one CD playing tunes in a random order throughout long recipe preparations.…

Polk Audio CS10 Center Channel Speaker (Single, Black)

,
Polk Audio CS10 Center Channel Speaker (Single, Black)
  • I was just putting together a new home theater setup and combined this with a Denon receiver. Let me say that this speaker has beautiful sound, really amazingly crisp and clear. You may have heard people talk about the holographic sound stage, if you have this speaker you will know what they are talking about. I don't regret buying it for one second. However I did have one major problem, it really shows up the Sony speakers that I had received as a gift a couple of years ago. So much so that I've broken down and ordered a couple of TSi400's to team up with this. The only comparison I can make is that it is like driving in the mountains and the change in altitude causing your ears to block up…
  • I bought this as a Christmas present for my father, and liked it so much I replaced my slightly smaller/shallower Paradigm speaker with this Polk instead. I also run Polk 4" surround bookshelf speakers with a pair of Boston Acoustics 8" front speakers and a 10" Klipsch sub. This speaker added the mid and low range that the former center channel speaker was missing, so each component of the setup contributes equally to the overall sound, rather than making the sub create all the bass from one spot in the room. It's also great that you can flip the cover and either set it flat, or on the angled edge. Great value and sound quality.

Onkyo HT-S3400 5.1-Channel Home Theater System

,
Onkyo HT-S3400 5.1-Channel Home Theater System
  • When i bought the Onkyo system over a Yamaha I was a bit skeptical at first . Having heard the name Onkyo before it made me feel a little better but i said hey this is my first surround sound system and i can upgrade if needed. Boy these speakers kill the job. Very crisp. very heavy bass when listening to music or horror movies and all for a super low price. Definately Reccomend this product
  • Everything seems great so far. I have some pretty decent monitor speakers hooked up instead of the fronts, so I cant comment on the entire system. That said, the receiver has every option I could ever need. You can't find a receiver for 300$ that is better, or has more options than this one, so with the speakers and sub included it seems like a great deal. Took 10-15 minutes to set up. Easy on screen menu and set-up options. I had a Denon AVR-391 that I just returned to Best Buy, and this Onkyo Receiver has an extra optical audio input, and the audio actually passes through the hdmi cables where the Denon didnt. Absolutely no complaints after watching a couple TV shows and listening to different…

TEAC PD-D2610 5-CD Carousel Changer with MP3 CD Playback

,
TEAC PD-D2610 5-CD Carousel Changer with MP3 CD Playback
  • For some inexplicable reason, the shuffle-play feature is severely handicapped. Not only must you activate it from the remote (there is no button on the player's control panel to do this), but it will only shuffle tracks on one CD at a time! If this is important to you, beware: you CANNOT shuffle a random mix of tracks from all the CDs in the carousel. Otherwise this appears to be a fine machine for the price, but I must be able to shuffle amongst all the CDs so that was a dealbreaker for me, and I had to return it. (Thanks, Amazon, for making returns simple.)
  • I'd be wary of this changer. The first one I bought failed mechanically (disk door wouldn't open) after 14 months of fairly frequent use. I rather foolishly (in retrospect) bought an identical model to replace it. This one failed after only 5 months. It plays one disk, but then hangs up and requires restarting to play another. I don't know whether this is a poor product or just chance, but I thought I ought to let people know about it.

Sony BRAVIA DAV-DZ170 Home Theater System

,
Sony BRAVIA DAV-DZ170 Home Theater System
  • Originally purchased this Sony HTB after doing more research than with my last car. I returned this item which really surprised me after all the careful study and reading so many reviews. Ended up buying an entry Yamaha 5.1 receiver coupled with the Boston CS series (floors, 225CB Center, Sub, 26B satellites - an incredible sounding system for under $800). Although I ended up spending 4X my original budget, I now believe that I would likely not be happy with any HTB. It's true what they say about spending the $ on the speakers - DEFINATELY worth it!Size does matter and apparently HTB speakers don't have enough of it to fill my medium size living room FOR MUSIC THAT IS. The sony Bravia was fine…
  • I purchased this surround sound set for my fiance for christmas. He had been asking for one for several months, and nearly bought his own on several occasions. When he opened this one, he was thrilled because we always find that Sony products are of a high quality. This was no exception. The set up was quick and easy, and all the necessary cables (except HDMI which we already had) were included. Each speaker had excellent sound quality, and the set lived up to the Sony name. The subwoofer is more powerful than either of us expected, and since we live in an apartment complex, we often don't use it to its potential so as not to bother other residents. Overall, the money spent on this system is…

Access HD 1080D NTIA-Approved Digital to Analog TV Converter Box

,
Access HD 1080D NTIA-Approved Digital to Analog TV Converter Box
  • I bough SIX Access HD 1080D converter boxes and spent months trying to get antennas that would allow me to get good pictures. Because all six performed the same, I assumed it was the antennas. Others said the boxes were essentially the same. I tried to complain to the tv stations and my representative in Washington. Then someone gave me a couple of coupons and I went to [...] after doing more research and they sent me two ChannelMaster boxes. I replaced two of the Access units and almost fell to the floor when I saw the results; I thought we had hooked up to cable TV. The pictures came on fast and the was no freezing or no signal alerts. These Access people are selling garbage and I am finding…
  • The Access DTA 1080 is totally unacceptable. Sorry I can't identify mine as a D or U version as none of the labels the manufacturer put on the box identify the version. I assume that it's the D as it's the small box. The remote does not control volume when connected for RF (channel 3 or 4), only the RCA jacks are controlled. There is LOUD buzzing audio leakage into the audio whenever there is white lettering appearing on the screen. The display for channel and menus has tiny lettering, hard to see across the room. I also have two versions of the Zenith converter which actually work as they are supposed to on exactly the same setup. Stay away from Access products.

Pyle Home PTCDS2UI AM/FM Radio/CD/Cassette/USB Classic Turntable with iPod Dock
  • Selection dial shorted out on day 2. The gift was well-appreciated with lots of features but had to be returned. Not sure if this is a pervasive or isolated issue.
  • Purchased this item because I have hundreds of old vinyl records I did not want to get rid of but currently had no way to play them. Also wanted the other media play capabilities, as well as something that looked great sitting out. Didn't know anything about Pyle Audio, so this was purchased in the blind based on other individuals' recommendations. Can honestly say I have not been disappointed. The sound is great, all features work, and it is easy to operate. I would recommend this product to anyone that might be on the fence about purchasing this product. Got a great deal on the price, and it is well worth it. Only area that might be improved is in the instructional booklet--there are areas…

Sony STRDH520 7.1 Channel 3D AV Receiver (Black)

,
Sony STRDH520 7.1 Channel 3D AV Receiver (Black)
  • This is certainly a great receiver if you need something to handle a TV and a couple of other devices. Sound quality is great for modest speaker setups, and the Dolby decoder does an excellent job. However, it's lacking in inputs and doesn't have much flexibility for multiple non-HDMI devices. For the price, this is to be expected and it won't be a problem for most people. But since I didn't see these things mentioned in previous reviews, I'll list them here:* Component inputs will not be converted and passed through to HDMI to the TV. If you use component inputs, you need another component cable running to the TV. I know, no big surprise, no other receivers at this price point will do that…
  • I am very happy with this receiver and had no problems with set up. My system is fairly simple but it replaced a Pioneer receiver with no HDMI inputs, so it is nice to be up with the times. I went ahead and upgraded to a Sony BX37 Blue Ray player as well. I went from cord all over the place to 3 HDMI cords: (FIOS to TIVO), TIVO to receiver, Receiver to TV, Blue Ray player to receiver. I had a box of old optical, analog and component video connectors left! I especially like the fact that the TV still gets picture and sound even with the receiver in Standby, and that the receiver and blu ray player can be operated from the same remote. Many options for surround sound etc. so I am just scratching…

Yamaha In-Ceiling 3-Way 100 watts Natural Sound Custom Easy-to-install Speakers (Set of 4) with Dual Tweeters & 6-1/2" Woofer for 1 Large Room or Several Smaller Rooms
  • Amazon is always easy to do business with. Took me 20 mins to install the first speaker and less than 10 mins each for the additional speakers (house was wired already - needed to cut holes and install speakers). The speakers sound fantastic. I'd highly recommend them and the great design making installation a breeze.
  • I used eight of these speakers for an install in a home recently. You can not beat them for the price. I purchased them mainly for the look, i needed a flush mount speaker. They work great and easy to install. My favorite thing about them is the spring loaded connectors, no soldering!

Behringer EUROLIVE B212D Active 550-Watt 2-Way PA Speaker System with 12-inch Woofer and 1.35-inch Compression Driver
  • I got this speaker for the sole purpose of using it to play music for wedding ceremonies and cocktail hour when a speaker is needed in a separate location. My main speakers are QSC K12's, enough said there. These Behringer 12 inch speakers pack quite a punch for their size and weight.Speaking of weight, most DJ's know you need light and portable especially for ceremonies and cocktail hour. Another great feature is they have not one but two handles to pick up the speaker. I would not be afraid to use it for a main speaker if I needed to.If you DJ a lot of weddings you can not go wrong with this. I DJ a lot of weddings and at my young age of 49 I'm using my head more and my back less.
  • I bought a pair of these for my son, who is trying to start up a DJ biz. Sadly, within two months, the tweeter in one speaker quit working. Don't know if it's the tweeter itself, or the cross-over circuit. I was on hold trying to get to Behringer customer service for more than an hour. Even when I got thru, it took several follow up calls and emails to get an "RMA number" so that I could get the speaker repaired under warranty.Well, that meant getting the speaker to a Behringer authorized service center at my own expense. Happily, there is on in my town, although quite a drive away. When I got there, carrying the speaker, and complained about the difficulty in getting the RMA, they…

Polk Audio Surroundbar IHT 6000 Instant Home Theater (Black)
  • Purchased this sound bar and sub from best buy, easy hook and it sounds good. The only problem i had with the system was the remote control, you have to be directly in front of the sound bar for the remote/ volume control to work. The remote or my programmable would not work if we were sitting down or just 1 foot off center of the sound bar. Google it on the web and you'll see. I now have a Energy Bar Power Elite and i love it.
  • I have owned this unit for about two weeks. As others have said, the setup is little else than plugging in the power cords for both the bar and the subwoofer, then wiring the bar to the source. I didn't have to sync the sub, it worked right out of the box. I bought this with the intention of using it as a simple, uncluttered, better-sounding replacement for my TV speakers. To be honest, I didn't buy it for the "Surround" prowess - What I primarily wanted was more oomph and clarity over what the TV provided. In that sense, I am satisfied with this product.Pros:- Unit can get plenty loud, loud enough for probably all but the most demanding ears.- Sub blends very well with the sound bar,…

Bose® CineMate® Series II Digital Home Theater Speaker System
  • I bought a refurbished Wagner Paint Crew airless paint sprayer from Amazon over the summer because my wife and I were beginning to work on the project house we bought in May. Every wall in the house needed to be painted, so I figured I'd spend the $100 (on sale) on the machine and save myself a bunch of time. The sprayer performed well in the two rooms I sprayed, but over-spray was a real problem. My next painting project was the great room. It has cathedral ceilings and a bunch of weird angles, so spraying wasn't a good idea. Thus, I bought this attachment for the sprayer. The setup is a no-brainer. The roller comes ready to use - all you have to do is remove the packaging and prime your sprayer,…
  • Works good, but plastic pieces break real easy. After using twice, coupling started leaking. Apparently not made for commercial use. Not very happy with quality of product.
