NXG Technology NX-PROSUB125 10" 125-Watt Powered Subwoofer (each)

• It might be a decent sub woofer if it would stay on.I have had two of these and they both won't stay on.I have called support and they recommend turning up the sub gain all the way on my receiver. I did that and it still loses the signal and turns off.I tried it with Onkyo and Denon receivers and it does the same thing.Not recommended at all.By the way if you listen to your music at ear bleeding levels it might stay on but not at low or normal levels.
• This is a nice subwoofer that will fill a medium to large room with full bass.It's 125 watts recommended listening,it has from receiver speaker wire hook ups and a RCA LFE(Low frequency emmission) cord plug that will do all your bass in one cord.It has a big air port on the front that increases air flow(which equals more bass).It also has a high quality driver with thick foam surrounding the driver and thick fiber driver material.It is a 10" driver.It weighs about 28 pounds, but will fit in a room nicely.It has nice rubber or hard plastic feet on the bottom of it to keep it off of the floor if that's the way you want it.

• I purchased this system in July 09, it was dead on arrival. I sent it back to the factory authorized service center. They sent me another unit. Now, the speaker is emitting a loud hum. While it was working the sound quality was mediocre at best. Yes, it is still under warranty but I don't think it is worth returning. All I'd get back is another piece of junk.
• I Buy my first Samsung LCD TV 40' is fantastic , the Image is incredible , the 120Hz. anti-blur working for me. But I up the volume....My great dream change a nightmare the sound is cheap and poor. • Alright guys, I checked the bad boy and this is what I found; First of the the design of this sub is very beautiful with black wood finish that match my Polk Tsi series like a charm (you guys would love the design).With this sub their is no unnecessary boom (this is not a car sub) but their so much punch that I could feel the gun shot and all the robots in transformers mind you that it goes down to 22hz. I could feel my bed/wall shaking and the explosions are like an earthquake. I never though transformers had other effects that could shake you until this sub oh my.. and this is not even at full volume.The bass is really excellent, not too tight and not too moody but it all depend on what you want because placing the sub is very important. Placing this bad boy in the corner would give you more bass as it said in the manual.Guys I can't say much now because I got to enjoy my movies.

Pinnacle Speakers 300 Watt Audiophile 5.1 Speaker System - MB 6000

• These speakers are a decent, overall good sounding set but I have 2 complaints that warrant these speakers no higher than 3 stars in my opinion.1. The satellites are NOT flat to 100 hz as advertised. The frequency response sharply begins to drop at about 145 hz which makes the endeavor of achieving decent midbass a joke on the consumer. I tested multiple speakers in different conditions and using different equipment, with multiple signal generators to rule out possible biases. Seriously no joke. (This is even after plenty of hours of break-in) Even the spec sheet (s) says 100 - 20KHz (+/-3 dB)2. I had problems getting decent sound out of the subwoofer at all but relatively low levels of playback.…
• After seeing this Pinnacle speaker set ( MB6000 ) on Amazon, I went to the Dell site as directed and purchased two sets. The speakers arrived but the subwoofers were 10" 125 watts not 10" 300 watts. This is a problem I don't seem able to resolve. After a number of e-mails and phone conversations, Dell says I have the correct speakers, even though what's printed on the boxes doesn't match their ad or Amazons ad or even my invoice. If you buy from Dell I wish you better luck than I am having. Lee Chase ( I think Amazon should pull the ad. )
