- Originally purchased this Sony HTB after doing more research than with my last car. I returned this item which really surprised me after all the careful study and reading so many reviews. Ended up buying an entry Yamaha 5.1 receiver coupled with the Boston CS series (floors, 225CB Center, Sub, 26B satellites - an incredible sounding system for under $800). Although I ended up spending 4X my original budget, I now believe that I would likely not be happy with any HTB. - I purchased this surround sound set for my fiance for christmas. He had been asking for one for several months, and nearly bought his own on several occasions. When he opened this one, he was thrilled because we always find that Sony products are of a high quality. This was no exception. The set up was quick and easy, and all the necessary cables (except HDMI which we already had) were included. Each speaker had excellent sound quality, and the set lived up to the Sony name.
