- Purchased this sound bar and sub from best buy, easy hook and it sounds good. The only problem i had with the system was the remote control, you have to be directly in front of the sound bar for the remote/ volume control to work. The remote or my programmable would not work if we were sitting down or just 1 foot off center of the sound bar. Google it on the web and you'll see. I now have a Energy Bar Power Elite and i love it.
- I have owned this unit for about two weeks. As others have said, the setup is little else than plugging in the power cords for both the bar and the subwoofer, then wiring the bar to the source. I didn't have to sync the sub, it worked right out of the box. I bought this with the intention of using it as a simple, uncluttered, better-sounding replacement for my TV speakers. To be honest, I didn't buy it for the "Surround" prowess - What I primarily wanted was more oomph and clarity over what the TV provided.
