  • I like the design and size of this woofer but I have had a couple problems so far.I ordered this for $80.00 new and shipped through Newegg on a promo. I'm adding it to my Onkyo Mini-system which I purchased through Amazon and reviewed. I don't feel like I have to have a sub but for the price, why not?It came in the Pioneer factory box without an overwrap but it arrived in great cosmetic condition, box and all. When I opened it I noticed one minor annoyance, the feet were slightly different heights and caused it to wobble a little on my very flat terrazzo floor. It wobbled about 1/8."   • I've had Pioneer's SW-8 Powered Subwoofer for over a week and it's the final piece for a home theater set up I have consisting of Sony Tower speakers and Polk Center Channel speaker. Pioneer's SW-8 Subwoofer is off the charts. Over the weekend I had a chance to really see how good it is andDAMN!!!!It's good.Setting it up was simple. There's a lil blue light indicating when it's on. There's an auto setting that kicks in when bass is detected, I haven't paid attention to it. It has a separate volume control.Input options include RCA & the typical wire inputs.
