- I bought this for my daughter as a graduation gift because we always tell her vynl records have the best quality sound. This was not disapointing to me and neither my daughter. Great sound, love the IPOD hookup and expandable speakers which gives it an even flow of sound. However a friend liked it so much and purchased the same one in June 2011 and it lasted 3 months before it broke down. We love shopping in the old record stores and discovering old and new vynls. Great gift but would check out everyones reviews to see if anyone else had the same problem as my friend.
- This isn't the loudest turntable but some of the things i like about it include the built in speakers and slow arm control. The speakers sound great but are not overly powerful. This is sorta in a category all its own. Its cheaply priced but works well. I think this is a great alternative if you would like to save a bit of cash. Maybe not the best of the best but darn close.If your ok with a little less kick on the volume side, the turntable should be fine. I have no problems with the build.
