- i bought these for my recording studio as "auratones" - small speakers with no bottom end to test how mixes sound in less than ideal situations. they don't sound "nice", merely ok, but that's why i bought them. no bottom end (these isn't supposed to be any), strong mids and highs. a friend has a pair and says that if a sub is added, they sound quite nice.
- I use these in conjunction with a subwoofer. Due to their size they are not capable of hitting the bass notes. They do provide a crisp clean sound at the mid to high range.
