- You can not beat the Harman Kardon brand. I also have an HK AVR 635, 7.1, which is the absolute best I have ever owned. This unit, the 1650, is great for an office or smaller room, nothing compared to the 635, but still a nice little unit. I'm using the Mirage, 5.1 Nanosat sub/speaker set, with the 1650. My office is about 13' by 15' and is filled nicely with this unit and speaker set.Please be aware that if your TV does not have an IR (Infrared) remote, this remote will not control it.
