Infinity Primus Three-way dual 5-1/4-Inch Speaker (Each, Center-Channel, Black)
  • I'm using this with a pair of Infinity Primus 362s, 141s and a Sony 10" sub. All are powered by a NAD t747 except the sub, of course. Its a tremendous system and a marked improvement from the Primus Theater pack. While the tone of the sound is very similar, the power and presence of these larger speakers is a nice advantage. Just make sure you have the room since it is nice and big.I like this center channel. It's a great value with looks and sound from a more expensive speaker.
  • I upgraded from a budget Sony center channel speaker to this one, to accompany my Infinity Classica floor standing main speakers and Sony 12" sub. Almost a perfect match to my Classicas, and a vast improvement over the Sony center speaker. The bass reaches down far enough to make male voices sound very natural. This is a very neutral speaker, a little bright, but transparent enough to maintain the illusion that you are listening to the actor, not a speaker. It is also quite sensitive, at 91dB/watt, so they can hold the central image very nicely.
