- If you're planning to purchase this device, it's important that you realize that it has some limitations, mostly related to its use as a stand-alone unit through its USB or SD inputs. When used with these inputs (via an external USB drive, USB memory stick, or SD memory card), the device uses its own so-called Tiny Squeezebox Server, a "lite" version of the more robust Squeezebox Server that you download from the Logitech site and resides on your computer.
