- Great sound, but they should have just threw in the $2 remote. So I wanted to only use this when watching movies. Didn't need enhance sound when watching the news or just a regular show. Well if you connect this directly to TV it will stay on all the time and will automatically turn on when it detects a input. It is basically made to replace your tv speakers not your Movie surround sound. Oh, they must have not tested the grill because you literally have to have direct line of sight for any remote to work because they didn't think of a cutout for the IR sensor, which is annoying to keep hitting volume to make it work. - I am having problems with the Bluetooth function on the sound bar, which I believe is stemming from the recent upgrade to iOS 5 for Apple iPad and iPhone. The support from Boston Acoustic (no 1-800 number, by the way) is of no help, just saying that you need to redo the syncing of the devices. Very disappointed. It was the whole reason why I bought the darned thing! If anybody has any ideas as t how to fix the problem, please let me know.
