- I purchased this thing at a local retail store and you'll need to hear it to believe this thing. By comparison, this soundbar is one of the best available on the market at a great price. It can be turned up louder than you'll ever need the soundbar to be going and you'll be impressed with this purchase. We previously owned a Polk Audio SurroundBar 360 (which went on the fritz) and replaced that with an LG LSB316 280W Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and Bluetooth. We compared the sound on this directly with the LG and the JBL blew the LG out of the water. We tested the sound playing the exact same thing and switching the output on the TV from the LG to the JBL. The sound was just so much more rich and full throughout all ranges on this JBL SB 300.
