Pyle Home PD1000A AM/FM Receiver

Pyle Home PD1000A AM/FM Receiver
  • I just received the Amp tonight and plugged it in. Just put a CD in it to listen; pushed play and it made a pop sound and started smoking. I was just had enough time to get my CD out of the unit before it shut off. After reading the warranty info they make you pay to get it looked at. If they feel that it is your falt you have to pay to get it fixed. Also you have to send them a $20.00 dallor money order and return address info to get them to send you a replacement. ALL EXPENCES ON YOU THE BYER!!!!!! I will never bye from this company again; I am very very unhappy with the service that I recieved.
  • Ordered this to compare to the Onkyo TX-8555. Performed fine and was pleased with the sound. Only drawbacks noted were that there are some many lighted buttons and the display has lots of activity during use that I found it very distracting and even a bit obnoxious. Also there is a cooling fan for this unit that can make an appreciable amount of noise as it cycles on and off.Overall, performance is great but you will be in for a light show!
