  • I'm running a 5.2 system off this receiver. Sounds great after Audyssey set up, and really helps control my 2 SVS PB12+ subs as each gets individually and collectively optimized. My left and right fronts are run off an external amp, while this powers my center and side speakers (PSB Stratus C6i, PSB Imagine S surrounds). Sounds excellent, better than my old Onkyo 807, and I like the new dynamic volume options as well. I've just begun to explore its capabilities, but it is working well in its core function of switching video and powering audio.   • 9.2 channel, THX Ultra2 Plus, DTS Neo X, Audyssey XT32, 3 zones, iPhone USB, 4k upscaling, easy interface with a great multi functional remote. Need I say more? This AVR rocks. I compared many models from competitors and the only thing this really lacks is apple AirPlay but since I had an apple tv it really didn't matter. This receiver has 4 transformers and uses them all marvelously. I couldn't be happier with this AVR. The interface was super easy to get up and running as well as to do a bios update via the network jack.
