- This phonograph turntable is intended mainly for decorative purposes. As such, it serves its purposes will flying colours. I have been able to blend this kit into my office lo-fi ensemble (photos attached). The pair of Rogers LS3/5a (with KEF drivers) awakened by Rogers Cadet V (KT 88 X 4) is renowned for its unforgiveness to poor sources. However, the sound quality, from the phonograph or through the Rogers team, is higher than average for the incredibly low price range.
- Just got this yesterday, and have been playing it for the last 16 hours or so. Absolutely love it! The horn is difficult to put together and is made of plastic, but still looks very neat for what it is. The sound is good. The wood casing is beautiful. Bought it as a gift for my fiance, and put it together for him, but can't stop playing it. Guess I'll have to give it to him "used." Super nice for the price and compared to an older style/new replica that we bought and had to return bc it was poorly made, didn't play, and had a number of cosmetic issues. This was an awesome find for what we were desiring at a reasonable price, comparatively.
